So I haven't posted in over a year......
So I haven't posted in over a year. We completed an entire year since then...lol Gone Rome to Reformation history wise. Seriously didn't do much Social media type documenting. It was a very different type of year for us. More formal, with a lot more group/social activities.

Reality strikes...lol
So world.... I have drafts written about the last few weeks of CTG and first.. and at some point I might get them published, but its gonna be a while. We are done and we had fun but now its time for some real world learning through field trips and old fashioned house work. I realize as the year goes on each term I get less an less time to sit down and document what we've been doing. So have patience with me ... I'll get to it..lol

Summarizing CTG weeks 25-28
So I got pictures for post for weeks 25-28 and then realized CTG really wasn't the focus of our weeks at all..lol.. We did a lot of biblical history with no real hands one. We notebooked about Solomon, Elijah, and Elisha. We spent a very brief time on the beginnings of the Hindu and Buddhist religions. It was blessedly light as Spring fever took over along with crunch time for drama. We switched switched from Writing Strands 3 to The Institute for Excellence in Writing's Fables,Myths, and Fairy Tales. I am so excited because the girls have not been fighting writing and are actually enjoying it. Yeah for a momma win.... ;)
In first, Hulk has passed us in Biblical history moving on to the new testament. He's honestly getting pretty bored with the program. Its not much a challenge anymore so we are really focusing on summaries because I think he still needs to work on this skill in preparation for fully joining to the girls next year for RTR. And he's working on reading fluency with different easy readers. He's still flying through his Singapore Math ;)
The girls got the last 4 books of the Harry Potter Series for their birthday. Its been hard to tear them away and some other things have just gone on the back burner.
Yang came home from Co-op today as "Rosie Riveter" .
Trying to encourage Hulk to move beyond stick figures with his drawing.
We had a play date and lumch with some friends from our Old church. to break up the week.

So Hulk has really enjoyed working through Khan Academy, but he's also frustrated. He doesn't like to stop and watch the tutorials and then he stuff wrong. He's not used to getting math wrong and it can cause so real meltdowns. ( while he no longer throws stuff, he still emotionally Hulks out..lol)
